I have friends who display photos of their 3 or 4 children, smiling and hugging. My little ones, however, have yet to perfect that particular look.
I believe these tears were the result of Elisha wanting to hold Josiah and Madelyn wanting to hold Josiah and Josiah not wanting to be held by either of them.
Can you see the family resemblance between Madelyn and Josiah in that first photo?

You crack me up! Your kids are adorable, even when they're crying!
O.K., well, I think the smiles will come later--when they're old enough to appreciate each other.
Ugh, we have so been there! Our most recent photo shoot resulted in much the same and mine are 6,4 and 3.
I love all the pictures of your kids! Even this crying one. I especially love Maddie and Josiah's faces!
I applaud you for allowing your kids to be honest about their feelings. :) All 3 are adorable, of course!
Even when they are crying the are so adorable. I love them!
Been there! They are adorable! It takes us multiple photo shoots to get a good one. Just wait until it's time for Christmas pictures! =)
I'd say your photos are much more LIKELY and NATURAL than those of smiling children - - - I always wonder just how many "clicks" it took to capture those perfect ones!!!
I love this .....this is real life!
Hilarious!!!
I have some crying ones on my blog. Well, Piper is crying and Mackinley is grinning ear to ear! LOL
too funny! One of these days, you will get one.
I found Joel's note on my desk when I went to school yesterday. WHEN did he leave that.
I'm sad I wasn't there IN PERSON to meet him.
I found Joel's "gift" yesterday and blogged about it today. I don't have his blog addy any more since I got this lappy - - - - can you e-mail me his e-mail or something?
Priceless!
I've had a veritable "fluffy" of comments from Joel on my blog over the past couple of days since he found my post about his note. Thanks for making sure he KNEW to look for it.
I really want to meet him the next time.
Also - - - how about this idea - - - since I couldn't get the family picnic idea to work this summer, what about if I call for a blogger's coffee break at Tree of Life at some selected day/time? I think we've picked up some NEW Marion bloggers over the past year - - - - - Shannon of the Woods, Vickie. etc.
What say you?
LOL - - - look at that typo, I MEANT fluRRY, not fluFFy.
