Well, everyone, I think we are going with C and the "great pose." I like the evergreen too and wish we had an outdoor one where Elisha was looking at the camera, I wasn't squinting and Jim didn't look a bit tense (since Elisha was almost pushing him over). Plus there's something about my shirt that makes it look funny...do you see what I mean? I'm being overly paranoid here, I know.
Anyways, all that to say "Thanks for your vote (even if we didn't go with it)!" Ha! :)
AWWW I didn't get to vote! I was gonna say the outside one, too! HEHE! Madelyn's little hands are clasped...and she's almost smiling! So cute. And I think you look beautiful!!!
Ok after reading my comment, I want to rephrase...you're not looking squinty in that one, you look beautiful! In all of them! Haha ok I'm shutting up now...
Hmm. Looks like my comment's not going to help at all, because I like B.
I guess, though, that I'm basing my opinion primarily on the looks on everyone's faces. I like the way that Elisha is kind of laughing in that one, and Jaena's smile seems the most natural there, and Jim looks equally pleasant in all three. (Maddie was obviously drugged for the whole photo shoot, so she's not a consideration.)
But I'll agree the setting of A is certainly nicer -- especially for a Christmas card.
Can you say "obsession"? I agree about everyone looking the most pleasant in B. So what we need is this: the background of A mixed with the lighting of C and the looks on everyone's faces of B. Right? I will get out my Photo shop program and get right on that...jk. :)
Just to create a balance here, (and I can say this because I'm family), in A it looks like you're afraid to sit on the grass, like it might be wet or you might get your church clothes dirty or something. B and C are more relaxed. Both you and Jim look great, and the kids aren't so bad either.
So, maybe your vote should have more weight than ours.
I like c the best. And since I love pictures And do not have any of you and my brother since the wedding I would like an 8x10 if it is possible or a smaller one that I can take to walmart and make a bigger copy of. Love you guys.
You posted A on your blog for the entire UNIVERSE to see (I just had a visitor to my blog from CHINA) - - - yet you won't mail it out to a few selected friends and family for Christmas.
I do see what you are talking about - - - - but I think it's more in your imagination than anything else.
:-)
We are funny creatures, because I'd probably do the same thing.
Seriously, Jaena, consider Photoshop! Lloyd took a group shot with about 20 people in it. He took 80 individual shots, the photoshopped, swapping out heads until everyone had a pleasant expression!

I like the top one - Madelyn has a pleasant look on her face, the other three of you have great smiles, and I prefer outdoor pictures.
I'd pick A too.. they all look great!
First, I really like them all, but I think I like C the best.
I'd say A. I like the tree.
I can't decide between A and B. I'm an outdoor girl too - so my vote is A.
Outside evergreen.
That's my vote, and I'm stickin' to it.
A has the best lighting, but C is a better pose. I'd probably pick C.

I like the first one...outside pics are always the best!:) You guys look great!:)
OK, OK, maybe I will reconsider since A definitely has the most votes. What a decision!

Not that my vote matters at this point, I am sure, but I vote for A. I like the background. I think you all four look great in all pics. :-)
A A A A A A
Do multiple votes count????
A A A A A A A to infinity and beyond!!!
Maybe I'm weird, but I like B the best. :)

O.K., I shouldn't have said that part about being family. Nobody likes bossy relatives. I apologize.

I'm an outside girl so I would say A.
A's unique
but I like B with Elisha's expression.
Hey, I've got a real nice red sweater with a collar...... :)
I pick "A". Maddy looks pleasant, if not smiling. Plus, I like the look better w/o all the shoes!
