Got Milk?

As a matter of fact, I do.
Ninety-nine bags to be exact.
One consolation in not being able to nurse Josiah
is knowing that someone will benefit from over 4 weeks of pumping.
I am making arrangements (completing paperwork and blood work)
to donate to the Indiana Mother's Milk Bank.
Pretty cool, if you ask me.

I'm so glad you'll be able to do this. Makes the effort more rewarding. Hope coming off of pumping is going o.k., too.

That is awesome! I didn't know about that until David was older, but I can home from the NICU with 17 BOTTLES of milk. We ended up using a lot of it, but not all. That is really wonderful!

The coupon and formula are on their way this week. I am sorry it has taken so long. We've been sick- yuck! I hope all is going well.

That is so cool!! I had one of those bag organizers for the freezer that I kept milk in thinking that I would pump when I went back to work. too bad Sarah kept biting me and making me bleed. I sold it on ebay and only used it stock up for when I started weaning. I'm so glad you're able to donate them!!

This is very cool. I have never heard of this before but what a great way to help others-especially babies. WHere did you find out about this? Is there a website?
