Elisha had his first trip to the dentist yesterday. Our dentist has "Kid Days" a few times a year with a theme for the day. Yesterday's theme was racing, so Elisha got a bag with a little race car and other race-themed prizes, along with the expected tootbrush and toothpaste. They also had cool sunglasses for the kids to wear while they shined the bright light in their mouth. It was a good experience overall.
Elisha even left his pacifier with the dentist since he is three and it is probably not too good for his teeth anymore. All was well until naptime and bedtime...I think he was very attached and is going through withdrawal. Oh well, this, too will pass.
