Hey I think that bad hair must run in the family Alex and Aaron never have a good day, but now that it is summer time I think I will shave their heads like dad used to do to Jim and Jay every year.

Remember Weird Al? You should make a spoof on the Bad Day song and do "Bad Hair Day" with your kids's pictures accompanying the video. "So you had a bad hair day, tried to slick it down, put on tons of gel, so you could go to town." Don't worry, I'm not quitting my day job.
Dave & Lynnette: Jim never has a bad hair day, really; and I rarely let Jim take a picture of me, let alone with "bad hair."
Deb: I like the spoof idea as well as your creative lyrics; but due to my sheltered childhood (see comment on your blog), I don't know how that "Bad Day" song goes.
Did you watch American Idol? It was the song they would play at the end when they were showing the video of the person who just got voted off. You'd probably know it if you heard it.

Thanks for posting to our blog - it's such a small world! I totally remember you and I think that your brother (is it Joel?) was still in chorale during my first year at IWU (1993). Anyhow, it was great to catch up as I read through your blog - and the kids are adorable!
