Jim had last week off, so on Friday, we decided
to visit the Gas City Petting Zoo. Although the zoo is small,
it is also FREE (unless you count the 50 cents
we spent in the vending machine to buy food for the animals.)

They had goats, peacocks, goats, turkeys, goats,
sheep, and more goats.The deer are so tame;

Oh, and they have llamas...here are Jim and Elisha after feeding it.
And here they are immediately after it sneezed on them!
Just happened to be taking a picture at that moment - way to capture a memory!

The Zoo what a fun day that must have been. The last picture is the best it is great that you were able to capture that moment.
Love y'all,
Renee
P.S. I have finally added new pictures to our blog
The ZOO is the best, especially to keep 2 and 3 year olds entertained! And I a sad to say I didn't realize the Gas City petting Zoo was still around...I will have to take Caislyn next time we are in town. I like that it is "free".
It looks like you had a great Family day together...aren't those the best?
I have a memory from the Gas City Zoo. Nate once fed a listerine mouthstrip to a goose that lived there.
My favorite memory of the Gas City Zoo is when we did the Amazing Race, and Doug and Kismet were arguing by that point and completely missed the food vending machine. Did you see that on tape?
That picture is priceless. What are the chances? My kids love the petting zoo when they visit Auntie Kelley!
Great pictures. It's always good to see what you guys are up to.
These pictures are awesome. You couldn't have planned a better picture!
so how bout that lomma :O) :O)
that is funny .looks like you are having fun at the zoo anyway.
my car should have black raceing sterips on it by the time you see It.

The "llama sneeze" pic is one of the funniest things I've seen in a while.
Every single time I look at it -- and I've done so repeatedly -- it makes me laugh out loud (literally, not just the "LOL" thing).
I like how Jim's pretty grossed out, but how Elisha's just laughing it up. (There I go, laughing out loud again.)
Thanks for posting these, Jaena!
Yeah, this is one of those things that are much more funny to watch than participate in. Well at least for me, Elisha seemed to enjoy it. Oh and Joel, your sister was also laughing out loud.
Next time I see you guys I will be sure to sneeze on you and then we’ll see how fun that is. :)
Looks like you guys had lots of fun at the zoo! It is so much fun at this age to take them to do things like that because they are finally excited about it! We are hoping to do some outings like that with Jensen this year too. By the way, I think he has that same hat Elisha has on :)
