Madelyn Standin'
Madelyn has been trying to pull up for awhile now. She might have succeeded more often if her overprotective mother would let her try more without worrying about her falling down or losing her balance and hitting her chin or head. I tried to capture a photo yesterday but ended up with a bunch of her holding on to furniture but never standing. This morning provided a new opportunity and I did it. What a big (little) girl! :)

Way to go Maddie! She will be walking before ya know it.
She looks so mature! And self-confident, too.
Could mean fun tonight around Grandpa B.'s coffee table with all the nice decorations on it.!
.....and I get to stand back and be amused by the entire show. :)
It's fun watching other people's toddlers get into things. :0)
OK, I've lost all track of how old Maddie is now - - - can you help me out, Jaena???
Of course Maddie is confident, from Jaena's post it sounds like Maddie has BEEN believing she could do it - - - it was JAENA who had doubts!!! :-)
Praise the Lord! Its always a blessing when one can walk! She's oh so close!
Maddie will be one year old on January 7 (with Elisha turning 4 on January 10). You can bet we'll have a fun post about the big combined birthday party we're having on neither of their birthdays (January 5).
Oh! BTW, Anon and Cool Sis, the *family* party on Friday January 5th. You're invited! If you and your kids don't come, we have no other cousins you know? :)

I did not realize Maddie is so close in age to Mackinley. He'll be one on Jan. 27.
My first three kids all have birthdays within 2 weeks of each other, then Christmas all within a month. Not so good planning when it comes to the old pocketbook!!!!
Maddie looks so much like Elisha! It cracks me up! They are both such adorable little kids, you guys did good!

Does Maddie have trouble keeping her feet in those jammies? Mackinley does, especially when he's crawling. Or I find him in predicaments like I did this morning (check my blog for reference, HEHE)
Shelly, that's not the first time we've heard that our kids look alike...hard to believe, I know. :)
Keetha, Maddie wasn't due until February 18, so she probably seems smaller and younger than Mackinley.
Keri, Maddie has foot trouble too with jammies...too funny.
Such a cutie! She's growing so quickly! I can't believe she is almost 1 already! WOW! You have beautiful kids Jaena (Jim too)!
I must take a different approach than everyone else. It's just SAD! They grow up so fast... sniff, sniff... Next thing you know, she'll be climging on top of that coffee table and grinning at you while standing on it (not that I have any experience with that.)
Yay! Now it's time for another baby!!!
