Merry Christmas!

Just a few photos of our Christmas morning...

Our tradition is to give the kids three presents each to symbolize the three gifts Jesus received from the magi. With the plethora of gifts from grandparents, uncles, aunts and friends, they don't feel like they're missing anything, I guarantee.

Madelyn received a set of hat a mittens, a Boz DVD,
and a set of Tupperware sippy cups with lids.

Elisha opened a set of hat and mittens,
a Larry-Boy Car, and a telescope.

Oh, boy, Larry Boy! That would be my favorite. Hope he enjoys the telescope, too. It can be very educational.

Elijah has been begging for a Larry Boy car. His friend has one and he loves it. I'm sure Elisha will enjoy it.

What a great idea. Our kids have SO MANY toys now...I seriously have NO idea what to do with all of them!

Keri - try rotating the toys. That way, some will seem "new" and hopefully be more engaging for a while.

Erin - your view beats Keetha's view, but today she had snow!

OK Jaena - - - I tried to look/comment on here a few minutes ago and it told me you were switching to beta - - - - - you went over to the DARK side, didn't you????

Let me know if you like it - - - or if you even see any reason that it is better.

Right now it appears to have made several of your commenters be anonymous, and I'd like to know what Erin's view is since you made me curious.

Elisha will have to bring his telescope camping next summer. We took Elizabeth's this past summer but didn't get it out as much as we had hoped. Maybe Elisha will inspire us!

Keetha, I know, I know. But actually there is no more "beta"...the choices are a Blogger account or a Google account. Jim thinks means that eventually they will phase out the "old" Blogger.

I have heard that the new system speeds up photo downloads, so I decided to be adventurous and give it a try (especially if it was inevitable anyway.) I downloaded 11 photos in two groups which would have been completely impossible before. Plus, it practically published my blog instantly...so far, I'm impressed. :)

When I made a blog page for Greg's mom, I thought the google WAS the Beta - - - but what in the world do I know???

Anyway, let me know if you like it after you've had it for a while.
