This post is for my brother who asked me if a person's stomach just shrinks back down after the baby comes out. "Ummmm...no." Not that I'm complaining about my stomach. I mean, losing 8 POUNDS OF BABY has definitely been to my advantage this time around.
I did, however, wanted to post documentation that I do, indeed, still look 4-5 months pregnant. No worries, though. Nursing seems to help the pounds melt right off (and for me by nursing I mean pumping 7-8 times a day - same thing, right?)

I do want to defend my questions slightly . . . Honestly, I knew that a woman's stomach doesn't just bounce back to its normal size. But I was curious about how long it took -- we did have this conversation 7 days after he was born!
I love my li'l nephew. And my li'l niece. And my bigger nephew.
E-Mac, Maddie G, and now J-Mac. :-)
Sorry, Joel. I didn't mean to give the impression you are ignorant or anything. I myself did not know quite what to expect until after my first baby. :)
Well, I *am* ignorant about the pregnancy stuff. I've never been involved in a pregnancy before.
:-D
I know, but I feel like I kinda poked fun at you and don't want you to feel like I am creating fun posts at your expense. You are my favorite brother, you know. ;)
It's okay. I can take it. Good thing you're my favorite sister.
And I think maybe I could finally take you in a wrestling match. Maybe.
You're very brave to post an "after" picture - I don't think I would have done that!
Hey, I'm all about "full disclosure." This is just how it is. :)
And you have NOTHING of which to be ashamed in your "full disclosure." You look adorable - - - before AND after.
(PS - - - while we're having FULL DISCLOSURE - - - wearing a girdle all day every day for the next few weeks will pull that flabby tummy flat MUCH MORE QUICKLY than going sans girdle. Little "old lady" secret from back in my day and I PROMISE - - - it WORKS)
You don't look pregnant in any of these pictures. LOL! I don't think there's an ounce of fat on your body!
I will spare you all the pictures but trust me...you are very fortunate!! I probably weigh 3 times as much as you do. HAHA
You look great!
